Verification consists of passing a practical exam (date set individually) and defending a diploma project during the final session before a committee of Institute lecturers and experienced graduates. Meeting both conditions earns the Diploma with Profession Code 323090 — Holistic Therapist for Body and Mind. Other participants receive a Certificate of Participation.

ABOUT THE CURRICULUM

The programme covers 8 thematic modules led by experienced teachers and practitioners — working with the body and breath, yoga philosophy, and ayurveda fundamentals.

Graduate of the Nauczyciel Jogi Klasycznej (Classical Yoga Teacher) course

I came for knowledge and a diploma, and got far more. The course became an important journey through practice, relationships, and emotion. I left with concrete tools for my work, but also with the feeling that something truly important had happened for me personally.

Piyush Mittal

Piyush Mittal

Founder and President of the Institute

Piyush Mittal is a yoga and Ayurveda teacher, lecturer, and the founder and president of the Nirmala Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda. He is the initiator, author, and co-author of numerous workshops and instructor courses preparing people to work as, among others, a classical yoga instructor, Ayurveda consultant and therapist, holistic body-and-mind therapist, Marma therapy specialist, and workplace wellbeing lead — a yoga ambassador. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Management.

He has consciously practised yoga for more than four decades. The foundations of this path were laid much earlier, when as a child he attended a school operating in the Vedic tradition of Saraswati Shishu Mandir. His first formal yoga teacher was Chandra Mohan Bhandari, who organised and deepened his knowledge of yoga, pranayama, and meditation.

He gained experience passing on the Indian art of working with the body, mind, and consciousness as, among other things, the organiser of more than 180 workshops and courses in 2012–2024, and four International Scientific Conferences of Yoga and Ayurveda in 2013–2017, held in cooperation with the AYUSH Ministry of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy in India.

He completed certified training with teachers of yoga, Ayurveda, and related sciences, including Sadhguru and Swami Sarvapriyananda. He studied Marma therapy and Ayurveda especially under dr Sunil Kumar Joshi and dr Vasant Lad, and further deepened his knowledge of the classical Marma points as the author of the Polish translation of the book "Marma Chikitsa". He deepens his knowledge of the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Sutras in contact with teachers of the Vedanta tradition. He holds Yoga Alliance RYT® 500 and E-RYT® 200 certifications and serves as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP®).

In his work he combines the language of modern science with the wisdom of classical texts, passing on knowledge in a way that is simple and understandable even for people without prior preparation. He continually deepens his own practice and learning, treating this process as a personal svadhyaya — ongoing learning and self-knowledge.

Beata Darowska

Beata Darowska

Yoga teacher (Ashtanga Vinyasa)

Beata began her journey inward through the practice of Aikido. Physically active and strong, yet also guided by intuition, she sought a practice that would challenge the body while also touching on inner growth — and that is how she found Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, appreciating this path immediately.

Understanding that body and mind are inseparable, Beata approached stepping onto the yoga mat as a method of her own spiritual search.

This method revealed the limitations of the body — and therefore of the mind — while at the same time encouraging her to go beyond them. As she says herself, Ashtanga is demanding, but practised regularly it brings great results.

Beata has travelled the world and had the good fortune to meet and practise with highly experienced teachers along the way: Lino Miele, Nancy Gilgoff, Prem Carlisi, Rolf Naujokat, and others. When she met John Scott, however, the connection was immediate. Shortly after completing his RYT 200 teacher training, she began assisting him at his workshops and courses in many countries around the world. She now holds his RYT 500 teaching certification.

As a highly experienced teacher and yogini with twenty years of practice, she remains humble, teaching beginners and advanced students alike with great attention and dedication. Whatever the day or the specific practice you choose, you feel she is there for you — to help and guide you. The true quality of a teacher, captured in a kind and gentle presence.

In her work she combines creativity with a practical approach to marketing, making sure communication is not only visually appealing but, above all, clear, authentic and effective at reaching the right people.

Working at Nirmala has also become an opportunity for her to deepen her knowledge of Ayurveda and a holistic approach to people. She has completed the Holistic Therapist for Body and Mind course, the Marma Therapy Specialist course and the Ayurveda Consultant course, so she knows the subjects Nirmala.pl covers not only from a marketing perspective, but also as a participant and graduate of the Institute's own courses.

Piyush will contact you once we receive your submission. You arrange any BUR funding independently with the relevant operator. Only a paid deposit reserves your place on the course — see the "Deposit and reservation" section below.
